VIDEO: Factory vs. Field of Dreams

The winner of the U.S. Air Force aerial-refueling tanker competition will have to start building aircraft immediately to replace the existing fleet of Eisenhower-era tankers. A new video (to the right) shows why the Boeing NewGen Tanker is the right choice for American warfighters, American taxpayers and American workers. Boeing’s active 767 assembly line in Everett, Wash., is ready to start building aircraft TODAY. The competition – Europe’s EADS/Airbus – says it will build its tanker in a non-existent factory in Alabama, but it’s clear the vast majority of the work will be done in Europe. Factory vs. a field of dreams – which would you choose?.
